The Fantastic Four: First Steps – Everything You Need to Know

Marvel Studios is set to introduce The Fantastic Four into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) with the upcoming film The Fantastic Four: First Steps. Scheduled for release on July 25, 2025, the film is one of the most anticipated superhero movies of the year.


Plot and Setting

Unlike previous Fantastic Four adaptations, this version will be set in a retro-futuristic 1960s-inspired world. Instead of a traditional origin story, the film will introduce the team as an already established superhero family.

The film is directed by Matt Shakman, who previously worked on WandaVision. Marvel is focusing on a fresh take for the Fantastic Four, combining classic comic book elements with a new, exciting visual style.
